About Smarty Pants Artists

Michelle Masters
Michelle Masters says that artists must draw upon events in their own life. She believes that her life events influence, through the back door of her subconscious, her creations.

Michelle is an artist, graphic designer, teacher and illustrator. She was born in Cordele, a small town in South Georgia. Drawing and painting have been a part of Michelle’s life for almost as long as she can remember.

Illustrating her first children’s book in 2003, Michelle discovered she had a talent and love for illustrating. Look closely at the character on the cover of the nursery rhyme book Sippity Sup by Smarty Pants Press and you may see a close resemblance to Ms. Masters.
